This is my daughter Cassie. She was born at 29 weeks. She suffered severe brain damage. She has PVL, cerebral palsy, is blind, has a Trach and G-Tube, has asthma, reflux, multiple seizure types, and of course, severe developmental delays. She has had recent hip surgery to relocate her hips, she has a medi-port central line that helps tremendously. The trach is pretty recent as of October 31st two years ago.

She has lived a reasonably good life despite all these complications. She is now turning 8 years old. Every year is a miracle with her!!

She is SPECIAL and very much a Mom's little girl. She is very determined to live and is very happy. She almost always has a smile that will melt ANYONE as you can see. All her doctors are the best. They have really been a tremendous help any time they are needed.

It hasn't been easy for us.....BUT she is WORTH every second of hard, rocky roads that we have had to travel on.

P.S. I would be willing to speak to anyone who desires info or just wants to talk
