Ellie was born 16th March 2001. Ellie has had a tracheostomy for nearly 8 months now and is coping brilliantly. Ellie was born with Pierre Robin Sequence / Acampomelic Campomelic Dysplasia and for her first year of life she had a naso-pharyngeal airway. It was only on the 6th of June '03 that the hospital decided to perform a trachy and it has made a huge difference to Ellie.
