This is Brynn Marie Hollenbeck. Brynn was born on 1/28/01 at 24 weeks gestation along with her twin brother Bryce. She was 1 lb - 1 oz and 11 inches long. Our sweet baby spent 147 days in the NICU and then came home on oxygen and was g-tube fed. Brynn was home for about 6 weeks when she went back to the hospital with respiratory distress. She was hospitalized for 2 months and come home 9/28/01.
Brynn's homecoming again was short lived. Due to her bronchopulmonary dysplasia, she again went to the hospital on 10/6/01. This was her worst attack and she had to be intubated. The doctors decided it would be best to perform the tracheostomy.
Brynn is much more comfortable now. She is vent dependent. As soon as nursing is set up we hope to bring Brynn home.
