Magnus Hamrén

Magnus is a nine year old boy who has had a tracheostomy since 3 months of age old, when it was discovered that he was missing the diafragma muscle. For this reason, he needs ventilator care for a long time (perhaps his whole life?).
Magnus lives with his parents and younger brother in Stockholm Sweden. Magnus is one of only 2 cases in Sweden. Typically he should not be able to breath on his own, but after a lot of training (when he was small) he started to breath more and more without the ventilator and now only use the vent during his sleeping time.
Magnus attends a typical third grade class.
