Terminal Bronchus

The terminal bronchiole (TB) divides into the respiratory bronchiole (R), which branches into the alveolar duct (AD), which connects to the alveoli. The alveoli are where diffusion occurs. Blood vessels (V) also branch significantly and can be seen on histiological sections.
